WHAT total and utter madness it is that I read on the front of the Target.
How can Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership say speeding isn't speeding unless the car is going 10mph or more over the speed limit? If a speed limit is 40mph then that is the maximum anyone should be going and anyone exceeding that speed is breaking the law.
How can a group that includes the word safety in its name effectively be condoning speeding?
It is shocking to read that almost 40 per cent of vehicles using London Road in Boston were speeding and these figures should have spurred the authorities to act to tackle the problem.
Instead we get a lily-livered response from the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership which makes excuses why no action will be taken.
Come on Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership live up to your name or shut up shop.
