TWO youth initiatives in Boston have been given a financial boost by a local county councillor.
Raymond Singleton-McGuire, who represents Boston Fishtoft division, has donated £500 from the Councillor Big Society Fund to Holy Trinity Church club night and the RoadHoG bus project.
He said: "I'm delighted to be able to support these great projects.
"They both provide somewhere that young people can meet their friends and take part in activities in a safe and supportive environment.
"The RoadHoG Bus youth project is a mobile youth centre, complete with a cafe and chill out lounge, with more activities upstairs.
"In a rural area, a bus is a great way to take services and support direct to young people where they live."
